What is Radon Testing?

We are testing for a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is released during the natural decay of uranium. It is found in most rock and soil and its occurrence in the state is influenced primarily by geology. Certain areas are more likely to encounter radon problems than other areas but radon is a house to house issue. One house might test negative, while your neighbor might test positive. Radon is odorless, invisible, tasteless and cannot be detected by human senses. The only way to detect it is to test for it. Radon has been linked to lung cancer.
